EVENT RULES
1. FULL SEAL MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHILE ON THE PLAYING FIELD. Removing your mask in any situation while playing is non-tolerable. If you choose to use goggles and not full facial protection, then wearing something to cover your face is recommended but not mandatory.
Players under the age of 17 must have some sort of facial protection: Bandana, Shemagh, Balaclava, etc.
2. ALL AEG's have an FPS limit of 400 feet per second, with a 10 foot engagement limit. Sniper rifles have a limit of 550 feet per second, with a 100 foot feet engagement rule. Snipers CANNOT shoot a target within 100 feet. Therefore, secondary firearm is encouraged.
3. When you are hit, you are only wounded. You must sit/lie down and yell for a medic (you can use a radio if you have one.) You may say your position, but not the position of the enemy. Medic rules will be explained later. Head shots from the neck up are an automatic “Kill” KILL RAGS ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
4. Teams will be distinguished by colored armbands. IDENTIFY your target before you engage.
5. Before your team armband is placed on you, your firearms and magazines will be checked for safety purposes, and chronoed. When your gun passes chrono, you will receive a colored zip tie to put somewhere on your vest.
6. A “BANG” Rule is in place for engagements within 10 feet. If you come into close quarters with an enemy who is within 10 feet of you, point your gun at them and say “BANG!” This avoids any injuries and confrontations that may occur if you were to normally engage the target. Pistols have an exception of 5 foot bang rule. You are allotted 3 bang kills at once.
7. Firearms MUST be made safe by removing the magazine and clearing the chamber within the safe zone while gameplay is not active. GUN MUST BE ON SAFE WHEN IN THE SAFE ZONE.
8. Metal or Glass ammunition is STRICTLY PROHITBITED. If you didn’t know this, you don’t belong here.
9. No overshooting or blind firing - always look before and while shooting. We are not in Afghanistan firing AK-47s.
10. Players should wear adequate clothing including personal protection
11.No verbal abuse, profanity, name calling, or slurs of any kind. No physical contact allowed.
12. If we are playing a hostage scenario, the hostage will have glow sticks attached to the upper part of their person so you can identify them.
-In the event of CQC combat, SEMI AUTO only is allowed
UNIFORMS—ACU, DCU, BDU, MARPAT, DESPAT, MULTICAM, ATACS, CIVI CLOTHES. They are all fine. Doesn’t matter what you wear
TEAMS--teams are generally decided on what color your uniform is. Any color is allowed here. If teams are uneven, you may be placed on a different team. One team will have colored armbands, the other wont.
MEDICS—Medic rules are as follows. Each team will have between 2 and 4 medics, depending on how big the teams are. All medics will receive a red armband for designation. Once a player is “wounded” a medic can heal them. To heal a player, you must be touching them for 10 seconds. After that time, the player can resume play.
A player who has been wounded cannot move under their own power. Another player can grab part of their uniform and “drag” the wounded to safety. During that time, the wounded player can walk, but not run. You can also carry a player.
Once a medic is shot, they may be healed, but only once. After they are shot a second time, they must go to the safe zone for a period no shorter than 5 minutes. After that time, they may re-enter the game.
You may be healed an unlimited number of times, with the exception of the medics. At any time, you can take yourself out of the game (i.e. to change out batteries, get food/water, reload bb’s etc.) When doing so, just raise your weapon in the air and walk towards the safe zone while yelling “OUT” or “HIT”
Radios are highly recommended
Bring food and water, hot dogs and PowerAde or Gatorade may or may not be provided for a small cost.
