Operation: Hamburger Hill Hostage Scenario
Continuation to Operation: Hamburger Hill, using the same map as the first scenario.
Takes place after the first scenario, which ends at 1600. At that time, we will break for 30-60 mins, then start the Hostage Scenario.
Hostage Scenario will take place at 1630 or 1700, and end at 2030, or whenever players are done for the day. (Feel free to leave whenever you want)
There is no additional fee for this scenario, as it is a continuation to the first game.
Hostage Situation
Using the same map as Operation: Hamburger Hill, Team B will be the defenders, holding someone from Team A hostage. At the start of the game, Team B will pick someone from Team A to be their hostage. The Hostage will then remove any “weapons” and ammo from their person. Both teams will then go to their respective sides.
After the game starts, Team A has 30-45 minutes (depending on size of teams) to rescue the hostage and get the hostage back to Base A. To rescue the hostage, Team A must have at least one person get to the hostage without getting shot. If he gets shot, he has to go back to his base before he can resume play. Once he gets to the hostage, he has to touch the hostage and then escape. To win the round, the hostage must safely make it back to Base A. The hostage can also escape on his own, but if he gets shot by Team B, he has to go back to where he was. Team B can hide the hostage wherever they want on their base.
Hostage and Weapons—The hostage starts out un-armed. Once a member from Team A rescues him, they can give him a weapon, weather its the rescuers primary or secondary. If the hostage gets shot by Team B, he must return to Team B's base. He may keep the weapon given to him, as long as Team B doesn't take it. If Team B takes it, they must give it to a Ref to hold on too, or must take it back to the safe zone so the proper owner can get it back. (If there is too much controversy over this, i.e. people worried about not getting their weapon back, we can eliminate this part completely.)
Medic Rules--
Team A has unlimited lives. When a player from Team A gets shot, they have to go to their base and wait. When a second player gets shot, same thing. When a third player gets shot and gets to the base, the first player can resume play. EXAMPLE—Fred, Joe, Mark, and Aaron are playing. Fred gets shot, and goes back to the base. 30 seconds later, Joe gets shot and goes to the base. 3 minutes later, Mark gets shot and goes back to the base. At that time, Fred can get back in the game. Whenever Fred or Aaron get shot, Joe can get back in the game, etc etc.
Team B has a limit of 3-5 lives (depending on team size, the more teammates, the less lives) Once a Team B player gets hit, he has to go to a designated spot on their base, and put their name on a piece of paper. Once your name is on that paper the designated number of times, they are out of the game, and must walk back to the safe zone.
Round ends when either Team A rescues the hostage and he gets back to the base, or Team B gets completely eliminated.
POINTS--
This game will have a points system to determine the winning team. During the whole scenario, nobody is allowed to switch to the other team, unless one team has 2 more players than the other. Scoring points are as follow--
Team A scores 1 point if they successfully rescue the hostage.
Team A scores 2 points if the hostage escapes on his own and returns to Base A.
Team A scores 1 point if they eliminate Team B
Team B scores 2 points if they win the round.
After we are done playing for the day, the scores will be tallied up, and the winning team will be announced.
